Notes for the day:
A matter of legality.
While I was watching TV the other day, I saw a commercial. I can't recall the product, but they were offering free trials of something expensive and it reminded me of a song I first heard in the mid 90s by Master P. A coworker of mine at the time was a big fan of his.
The song provides instructions for getting into the crack business. One of the techniques it advocated was "the free sample". That bit of the song stuck in my head.
While I'm on the subject of drugs, I recently saw an interesting article from ArsTechnica about how the Internet asked Obama for pot.
I think the most interesting argument I ever heard for the legalization of marijuana came for a local Sheriff's deputy. It wasn't so much that he cared, but that he'd much rather deal with a criminal who was stoned and calm than drunk and mean. I feel like there was more to the statement, but it's been a few years. I've slept since then.
You know, my doctor gives me free samples of drugs...
