My lawn never actually got that bad, but it was pretty bad. Between all the rain and other problems, I hadn't mowed it yet. Luckily, the Mexican kid that just moved in across the street offered to mow it for a price within my budget, meaning very cheap. He didn't do a great job, but it wasn't bad considering the state it was before.
